SE 504 KG Detector for LPG

Life is a LPG gas detector that warns, by means of an acoustic signal, the presence of gas in the environment.

Life is calibrated to detect a gas concentration between 5% and 15% of the LIE (Lower Explosive Limit), about 1% of the total volume, this threshold may vary according to environmental conditions but will not exceed during the first 4 yearsoperating 20% of the L.I.E., after this period the device must be taken out of service or sent to TECNOCONTROL S.r.l. for a complete replacement of the device.

    LIGHT AND ACOUSTIC SIGNALING

The Life gas detector has three light signals on the front wall:

    • GREEN LED (LINE): indicates that the appliance is powered.
    • YELLOW LED (FAULT): indicates that the gas sensor has failed.
    • RED LED (ALARM): indicates that the gas concentration measured in the air is above the alarm threshold.

If the sensor fails Life is able to signal the malfunction by turning on the yellow LED steadily and activating the buzzer with an intermittence of two seconds.

< font face = "Montserrat"> In case of alarm & nbsp; the detector turns on the red led and after twenty seconds activates the bell and the relay.

    DELAYS ON SWITCH-ON

The catalytic sensor present in Life needs to be heated for about a minute before functioning properly, for this reason when the detector is turned on the green LED will flash to indicate that the sensor is warming up. The exit and the test / acknowledgment button will be disabled for this period.
