VELARIS SERIES Features

Next-generation automation for sliding gates up to 600 kg. Designed to reduce
installation time and after-sales service.
The motor, coupled with a calibrated reduction system to absorb mechanical stress,
guarantees smooth, silent operation, suitable for intensive work cycles.
The advanced encoder — the same principle adopted on the higher-end series — allows the
control unit to maintain the gate's position even after manual release. This eliminates the
need to repeat the travel learning procedure.
The integrated switching power supply reduces standby consumption in full compliance with
EU Regulation 2023/826, replacing the traditional toroidal transformer.
The built-in predisposition for the SUNPOWER solar kit completes the series' energy profile (only
for 24V versions).
Compatible with the INTPRG-4G/INTPRGN-WF system, which allows control and programming of system parameters from remote locations.
Compatible with data exchange between digital devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) and Cardin multifunctional electronic control units.
The control unit's firmware can be updated from a smartphone via the optional Bluetooth module.
MODBT: new features and any adjustments without physically modifying the board.
Multi-decoder
The range comes standard with a multi-decoder module for remote control (S449 -
S486 - S504 - S508). By default, the devices are supplied with a 433MHz RF module and the S504 / S508 series memory module inserted.
To control the device with S449 transmitters, insert the
ZGB24LC16-I/P memory module and consult the relevant section.
For the S508 / S486 series,

Electromechanical unit with 24V motor
The automation consists of a self-locking gearmotor controlled by a magnetic encoder
with integrated:
Electronic programmer with backlit LCD display;
Control unit with protective cover that allows for display monitoring and settings;
433MHz FM receiver.
The 16-digit x 2-line backlit LCD display, available in six languages, allows for programming
and diagnostics directly on the device. The programmer allows for quick setting of system parameters,
including radio code management, automatic reclosing,
input settings, operating modes for the indicator light, photocells, and
flashing light.
The operating speed and slowdown are adjustable. Control by the control unit is completed
with anti-crush safety devices and the <soft start= and <soft stop= functions.
Manual release with key-protected lever.
NiMH batteries and battery charger available as an optional accessory (KBNIMH-5L).
Max. travel speed 15 m/min.
